Manufacturing Capabilities from Technical Review to Delivery

Each project route is defined by part geometry, alloy, volume, functional surfaces, and finish. Customers may request an individual service or combine several operations within one manufacturing scope.

01

Engineering and DFM review

The team reviews the CAD model, 2D drawing, part function, and expected volume. The review may cover parting direction, draft, wall sections, critical surfaces, machining areas, and assembly needs. Questions and recommendations are issued before the quotation and tooling scope are finalized.

02

Tool design and manufacturing

Tooling is developed around part geometry, alloy, production volume, and maintenance requirements. Work begins after the tooling scope, first-sample process, and change procedure are agreed.

03

High pressure die casting

DICASTO manufactures components in aluminum and zinc alloys. The alloy, part weight, dimensions, tolerances, and surface expectations are defined per project.

04

CNC machining

Machining is used for surfaces, holes, threads, and features that cannot be completed by casting alone. The machining scope is based on the final drawing and agreed measurement points.

05

Finishing and secondary operations

Trimming, cleaning, blasting, coating, and other specified treatments can be coordinated according to the alloy and application. Finish type, color, and acceptance standard are fixed in the quotation and approved sample.

06

Prototyping and 3D printing

Prototypes may be used to check form, assembly, or selected functional requirements before full tooling investment. Prototype materials and processes do not always represent the properties of the final cast part.

07

Inspection and documentation

Required measurements, tests, and reports are defined at the start of the project. The agreed scope may include dimensional inspection, visual inspection, first-sample documentation, and inspection records.

08

Packing and shipment preparation

Packing is selected around part weight, finish, and transport method. Shipments are prepared with the agreed identification and documentation.
